Branding and graphic design firm chooses green,
emissions-free electricity
Toronto, June 15, 2007 — Bullfrog Power™, a leading Canadian provider of
100 per cent green electricity, today announced that Davis, a branding and graphic design studio with a specialty in consumer packaging, has joined the growing list of Canadian businesses and organizations that have become bullfrogpowered by agreeing to purchase clean, renewable power for its head office in Toronto.
Bullfrog Power provides homes and businesses in Alberta and Ontario with an easy way to go green and help create a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations. All of Bullfrog’s power comes from clean, renewable sources such as wind power and low-impact water power that displace polluting and carbon-intensive sources such as coal. Bullfrog sources power exclusively from generators that have received Environment Canada’s Environmental ChoiceM Program EcoLogoM certification.
Bullfrogpowering its office is one of a number of environmental initiatives that Davis has implemented. The company also carries out its own recycling program and uses digital file preparation and transmission to reduce shipping needs. Davis prints all of its corporate materials using waterless printing on paper with a high percentage of post-consumer content and offers these options to its clients as well. The studio is considering several other options to further reduce its ecological footprint, such as recycling obsolete computer hardware, converting to a more energy efficient version of fluorescent lighting and using couriers that operate hybrid vehicles.
