Partner: Falls Brook Centre

Since 1992, Falls Brook Centre has served as a learning hub for budding sustainability professionals in rural Glassville, New Brunswick. In addition to running sustainability initiatives such as a restoration orchard and a vertical axis wind turbine, the Centre installed a 3 kW solar project, thanks in part to the bullfrogpowered community. This solar installation generates clean, renewable electricity to help support the Centre’s energy needs—and will further help educate the public about renewable energy technology.

About our community projects

Activists and organizers across the country are working to transition their communities away from fossil fuels. We created our community-based green energy projects grant to provide critical funding for these local efforts.

All bullfrogpowered customers help fund these small-scale, community-led projects, including solar panels on schools and in Indigenous communities, education and training programs, and a cleantech accelerator.
