Partner: Just Food, Beau's Brewery

Ottawa-based Just Food is a grassroots non-profit working to promote and ensure local food security. Just Food’s initiatives include the Start-up Farm Program, which offers training and equipment to new local farmers.

In partnership with Beau’s Brewery, Bullfrog provided financial support for a 10 kW roof mounted solar system that is helping lower the costs of Just Food’s sustainable farming education and food equality initiatives.

About our community projects

Activists and organizers across the country are working to transition their communities away from fossil fuels. We created our community-based green energy projects grant to provide critical funding for these local efforts.

All bullfrogpowered customers help fund these small-scale, community-led projects, including solar panels on schools and in Indigenous communities, education and training programs, and a cleantech accelerator.
