Green electricity source

Two turbines are spinning a few kilometres northeast of Pincher Creek, Alberta, to serve demand from Bullfrog Power's commercial and residential customers. Commissioned in the spring of 2007, the 2 Vestas V80, 1.8 MW turbines produce more than 10,000 MWh of clean, emissions-free electricity annually — enough energy to power about 1,400 homes!

This is a former energy source for Bullfrog Power.

About our sources

We source our green electricity, green natural gas, and green fuel from generators and producers that meet or exceed the strictest environmental standards. By supporting these renewable sources, our community is advancing the green energy transition and building a cleaner, greener world for us all.
