Green natural gas source

The SWA Biosolids Processing Facility is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Using Landfill Gas (LFG), biosolids from six different wastewater treatment facilities are processed into organic fertilizer. Through this project, landfill gas is captured, cleaned, and repurposed to dry the biosolids, and the resulting fertilizer is used by agricultural, commercial, and residential applications across the Sunshine State. The landfill gas is reducing the volume of natural gas used to process the biosolids, directly displacing fossil fuel-delivered natural gas.
