Partner: The Boundless School

The Boundless School, a not-for-profit school in the Ottawa Valley, completed a 20 kW solar project in partnership with Bullfrog Power, who is the Lead Sponsor for the installation.

The School, which runs summer adventure camps as well as year-round educational programs, is like a second home to young people who struggle with mental health issues and lack the resources to thrive in regular classrooms. Under the guidance of the camp’s instructors, they are given a chance to earn their high school diplomas while bonding with each other and with nature.

The solar project is one initiative of the Boundless Land Trust—a long-term plan to preserve the acreage and landscape of The Boundless School.

About our community projects

Activists and organizers across the country are working to transition their communities away from fossil fuels. We created our community-based green energy projects grant to provide critical funding for these local efforts.

All bullfrogpowered customers help fund these small-scale, community-led projects, including solar panels on schools and in Indigenous communities, education and training programs, and a cleantech accelerator.
