The JUNO Awards: music that moves the country and the grid

JUNO Awards
March 24, 2026

For the 19th year in a row, Bullfrog Power is proud to partner with The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) to bullfrogpower all 2026 JUNO Week events, including The JUNO Awards, with 100% clean, renewable electricity.

Nineteen years is more than a milestone. It represents a long-term commitment to climate leadership and a belief that Canada’s most iconic music celebration can also drive meaningful environmental progress.

What this partnership delivers

JUNO Week brings together artists, industry leaders, and fans from across the country. Behind the scenes, a significant amount of electricity is used to power the stages, lighting, sound, and production.

Through this partnership, Bullfrog Power’s renewable energy generators will put 100% green electricity onto the grid to match the amount of conventional electricity used during JUNO Week, including The JUNO Awards on March 29, 2026For every megawatt-hour consumed, an equivalent amount of clean electricity from Canadian renewable projects is delivered to the grid on CARAS’s behalf

The impact is real and meaningful:

  • Displacing electricity generated from fossil fuels
  • Supporting the development of renewable energy projects across Canada
  • Reducing the environmental footprint of a nationally celebrated event

This is how large-scale events can take credible climate action without compromising the experience audiences expect.

A shared commitment to leadership

CARAS has consistently demonstrated that sustainability belongs at the centre of major cultural moments. By choosing to bullfrogpower JUNO Week year after year, they are embedding environmental responsibility into the fabric of Canada’s music industry.

This partnership supports renewable energy projects across the country, helping to expand Canada’s clean energy infrastructure and accelerate the shift away from polluting sources. It also sends a strong signal to artists, partners, and fans that climate action is not a side initiative. It is part of how we move forward.

Celebrating Canadian talent. Supporting Canadian renewables.

At Bullfrog Power, we believe every organization has a role to play in building a cleaner energy future. By bullfrogpowering JUNO Week, CARAS is helping drive demand for renewable electricity and contributing to a more resilient, low-carbon grid.

As the spotlight shines on Canada’s top musical talent, we are proud to help ensure the energy behind the scenes is clean, Canadian, and creating impact beyond the stage.

Because recognizing the best of Canada is also an opportunity to contribute to its future.
