With a system capacity of 100 kilowatts, the Goodmark Solar Project is Bullfrog and SolarShare’s first Toronto solar project. Bullfrog supported the construction and development phases of the project.

About our community projects

Activists and organizers across the country are working to transition their communities away from fossil fuels. We created our community-based green energy projects grant to provide critical funding for these local efforts.

All bullfrogpowered customers help fund these small-scale, community-led projects, including solar panels on schools and in Indigenous communities, education and training programs, and a cleantech accelerator.

LIFE Co-operative Solar Projects

With support from Bullfrog Power, Kitchener-based LIFE Co-op is giving residents in Waterloo Region the power to develop community solar projects. The Co-op’s portfolio includes 18 solar projects throughout the region, including one on Mapleton’s Organic Dairy.
