Green electricity source
Completed in 2009, the Bear Mountain Wind Park is the first fully operational wind project in B.C. Today it delivers enough electricity to power most of B.C.ās South Peace region. The site is also used for cattle grazing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and other recreational activities.
About our sources
We source our green electricity,Ā greenĀ natural gas, andĀ greenĀ fuel from generators and producers that meet or exceed the strictest environmental standards. By supporting these renewable sources, our community is advancing the green energy transitionĀ and building a cleaner, greener world for us all.
