Beau’s, Bullfrog Power launch new solar project at Ottawa’s Just Food Farm

Bullfrog Power, Canada’s leading green energy provider, and Beau’s Brewing Co., based in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, are announcing the launch of a new solar project in Ottawa. The 10 kW project is being developed in partnership with Just Food, an organization working toward just and sustainable food and farming systems in the Ottawa region. A free community celebration will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, at the Just Food Farm where members of the public can learn more about, and celebrate, local good food projects.

The inspiration for Whitewater Brewing Co. originated on the banks of the mighty Ottawa River—world-renowned for its incredible whitewater adventures. These adventures brought three friends together year after year. One year, they had an epiphany: James Innes, Chris Thompson and Chris Thompson, founders of Whitewater Brewing Co. (that’s right—two founders share the same name!), thought, “What better way to pay homage to the Ottawa Valley than to set up a business named after the activity we love most, in the area we love most?”

Sodexo Canada partners with Bullfrog Power on carbon reduction targets

Through the partnership, Sodexo Canada will be bullfrogpowering three offices and one warehouse with green electricity as part of Sodexo’s global mandate to reduce its carbon emissions by 34 per cent by 2024, compared to a 2011 baseline.
